Potential diazotroph communities of Cordia dodecandra phyllosphere endophytes in agroforestry systems

open access: yesBotan‪ical Sciences
Background: Endophytic bacteria in the phyllosphere play a crucial role in plant growth and health. The microbiota of Cordia dodecandra, a Mesoamerican native species, may include diazotrophic bacteria.

Diversity of nifH gene sequences in the sediments of South China Sea

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Microbiology Research, 2011
In order to contribute to knowledge about structure of marine diazotrophic communities in the sediments of South China Sea, the molecular diversity of the nifH gene, which encodes the Fe protein of the nitrogenase complex, was assessed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification using PolF/R primers, followed by cloning and sequencing.

Sustainable lentil intensification in rice-fallow systems through bioaugmentation with atypical rhizobia and endophytes modulates rhizosphere and nodule microbiome dynamics

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology
Background Rice-fallow agroecosystems face challenges such as poor soil fertility and low crop productivity. This study evaluates a multi-species bacterial consortium—comprising atypical rhizobia (Pararhizobium giardinii, Ochrobactrum sp.) and non ...
