Advanced Electron Microscopy of Clusters Grown Inside Superfluid Helium Droplets: Advances, Challenges, and Perspectives

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
Superfluid helium nanodroplets enable ultraclean synthesis of metallic clusters and nanowires unattainable by other methods. This review surveys aberration‐corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS)/energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDX), and electron tomography to resolve their structure ...

Interplay of Vanadia Surface Density and Support Nature in CO2‐Assisted Propane Dehydrogenation Over V2O5‐Catalysts

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
The influence of vanadium surface density and support nature (MoO3, Nb2O5, and SiO2) on VOx catalysts in CO2‐assisted oxidative dehydrogenation of propane (CO2‐ODHP) is unveiled. Isolated/oligomeric VO4 species together with strong VOx‐support interaction suppress coke formation, and enhance propylene production, with MoO3 providing a synergistic role ...

Synthesis and Characterization of Nano-Particles of Niobium Pentoxide with Orthorhombic Symmetry

open access: yesMetals, 2017
In this work, a set of nanoparticles of Nb2O5 nanoparticles were grown by both the Pechini and the sol-gel methods. The amorphous materials were calcined at 650 #xB0;C or at 750 °C.

Phase equilibria in the system niobium pentoxide-germanium dioxide [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Research of the National Bureau of Standards Section A: Physics and Chemistry, 1966
The phase equilibrium diagram for the system Nb2O5-GeO2 has been determined experimentally, using the quenching technique and examining the samples by optical microscopy and x-ray powder diffractometry. The system contains one compound, 9Nb2O5·GeO2, which melts incongruently at 1420 °C.

Printed Nb2O5 Metasurfaces for Ultraviolet‐Visible Chiro‐Optical Holography

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 6, 27 January 2026.
A high‐index Nb2O5 particle‐embedded resin (PER) is developed for single‐step nanoimprint fabrication of chiral metasurfaces. This etch‐free, scalable process enables large‐area patterning while preserving UV–vis transparency. The resulting metasurfaces realize spin‐dependent holographic reconstruction across the broadband spectrum, providing a ...
