VODKA-PLS : a family of PLS models based on the NIPALS algorithm
, 2010 Several algorithms were proposed for the calculation of PLS1 regression, using weight and loading vectors. This paper presents an alternative to the NIPALS algorithm. As a consequence, expert knowledge represented by a vector can be introduced within the calculation, and thus a family of PLS algorithms is obtained.
