A transparent, laser‐microscribed glass platform enables cancer diagnosis within 1 h—much faster than histology, which takes days, and free from the chemical or contrast risks of MRI or CT scans. The antibody‐functionalized rough glass surface captures viable cancer cells directly from suspension, allowing instant optical readout and offering a rapid ...

Theory‐Guided Design of Non‐Precious Single‐Atom Catalyst for Electrocatalytic Chlorine Evolution
To overcome the reliance on noble metals for the chlorine evolution reaction (CER), we designed a non‐precious single‐atom catalyst (SAC), NiN3O–O. It achieves a low overpotential of 75 mV, 95.8% Cl2 selectivity, and outperforms commercial dimensionally stable anodes (DSAs).

Plant H2S and Transcription Factors (TFs) Interactions: Unexplored Area
Plant hydrogen sulfide (H2S) metabolism has garnered noteworthy attention due to its role in regulating many plant processes. The primary mechanism by which H2S exerts its signaling functions is through its reversible interaction with thiol groups on ...

Molecular Recognition of NO/NO\u3csup\u3e+\u3c/sup\u3e via Multicenter (Charge-Transfer) Binding to Bridged Diarene Donors. Effect of Structure on the Optical Transitions and Complexation Thermodynamics [PDF]
Bridged diarenes form very strong [1:1] complexes with nitrosonium/nitric oxide in which the NO moiety is optimally sandwiched in the cleft between a pair of cofacial aromatic rings which act as a molecular “Venus flytrap”. The spectral features of these

Osteoarthritis and nitric oxide
Osteoarthritis (OA) is caused by both biochemical and mechanical factors. While the mechanisms that underlie the disease are not completely understood, investigators have characterized a number of catabolic and protective factors that have a role in the disease process.

Cell Calcification Models and Their Implications for Medicine and Biomaterial Research
Calcification, is the process by which the tissues containing minerals are formed, occurring during normal physiological processes, or in pathological conditions. Here, it is aimed to give a comprehensive overview of the range of cell models available, and the approaches taken by these models, highlighting when and how methodological divergences arise,

Radiotherapy damages bone and disrupts osteocyte function, yet mechanically mediated protection remains largely unexplored. This study demonstrates that low‐magnitude, high‐frequency (LMHF) vibration mitigates irradiated osteocyte apoptosis, restores their ability to regulate breast cancer extravasation, and acts synergistically with radiotherapy to ...
