Role of Bradykinin and Mas Receptor Blockade in Renal Vascular Responses to Angiotensin 1-7 in Adult Female Rats

open access: yesJournal of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences, 2020
Background and purpose: Chronic kidney disease is among the common diseases in the world. Studies show that women are more protected against renal diseases compared to men. On the other hand, vasodilatory axises of renin angiotensin system (angiotensin 1-

Infrared Spectra‐Based Machine Learning Framework for Photocatalytic Reaction and Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
In this study, a machine‐learnt vibrational spectroscopy is utilized to establish a direct, predictable, interpretable, and transferable relationship between IR signals of adsorption and catalytic performance. In experimental catalysis research, conventional trial‐and‐error approach still dominates during the exploration of the intricate relationship ...

Cu–Ce Dual–Atom Sites Embedded in Zeolites Boost Resistance to Impurity Interference for Environmental Catalysis

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Embedding Cu‐Ce dual‐atom sites in zeolites enhances catalyst resistance to impurity poisoning for environmental applications. By implanting Ce into Cu‐SSZ‐13, we increase the relative proportion of P‐insensitive Z2Cu2⁺ sites by forming [ZCe3+(OH)2]+ sites in the 8MRs, while Ce sites preferentially bind phosphorus.

Glycolic Acid‐Based Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADESs) as Catalytic Reaction Media for the Synthesis of β‐Nitro Ketones

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
β‐nitro ketones were synthesised via nitration of enones in glycolic acid‐based natural deep eutectic solvents (NADESs), taking advantage of both their green properties as well as their weakly acidic catalytic behavior. The reaction proceeded with stochiometric amounts of nitration agents with both aromatic and aliphatic reactants.

Nitrate Protocol [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The purpose of this resource is to measure the nitrate-nitrogen of water. Students will use a nitrate kit to measure the nitrate-nitrogen in the water at their hydrology site.

Late‐Stage Conversion of Terminal Alkynes to Nitriles in Nucleoside Scaffolds: A Tool for Diversification

open access: yesAsian Journal of Organic Chemistry, EarlyView.
We established a metal‐free, late‐stage diversification of terminal alkynes into nitriles using tert‐butyl nitrite (tBuONO). Replacing 2‐picoline N‐oxide with N‐methylmorpholine N‐oxide (NMO) as the oxidant enabled efficient nitrile formation under mild conditions. Abstract The small nucleoside molecule LJ‐4827 exhibited potent kinase inhibition and in
