2‐Aryl(alkyl)benzimidazole hydroxamic acids (11‐16) are potent and selective HDAC6 inhibitors, with minimal activity against HDAC1/2, and also display anti‐angiogenic and anticancer activities. Compound 13 exhibited a GI50 of 3.9 μM against EPCs and inhibited the growth of HCT‐116, SK‐Hep‐1, and PC‐3 cells with GI50 values of 1.3, 4.2, and 7.5 μM ...

Heterogeneous catalysis has historically been developed in the gas phase, however, we have found it pertinent to highlight solvent effects that must be accounted for in liquid environments. Condensed phase catalysis, like that in biomass, petroleum and the conversion of CO2, stands to benefit from the typically overlooked discussion regarding the ...

The UV‐activated persulfate process rapidly decomposes azoles, while mineralization depends on oxidant type and molecular structure. PR and TA achieve high mineralization via O2•‐ pathways, whereas BTA and 5MBTA show limited mineralization dominated by 1O2.

Quality requirements for reclaimed/recycled water [PDF]
Water used during current and previous space missions has been either carried or made aloft. Future human space endeavors will require some form of water reclamation and recycling. There is little experience in the U.S. space program with this technology.
