A metal‐directed carbonization strategy transforms hierarchical organic microspheres into spiky carbon catalysts with Pd nanoparticles embedded at the tips. This approach resolves the activity‐stability trade‐off, achieving exceptional poison resistance in semi‐hydrogenations, offering a versatile, scalable platform for designing high‐performance ...

Synthesis of Pyrrolnitrin and Related Halogenated Phenylpyrroles [PDF]
A general approach to halogenated arylpyrroles, including the antifungal natural product pyrrolnitrin, is described using newly synthesized halogenated pyrroles and 2,6-disubstituted nitrobenzenes or 2,6-disubstituted ...

Heterogeneous photocatalysis has attracted attention as a green alternative to thermal catalytic processes. However, continuous operation remains challenging due to mass‐transfer limitations and nonuniform light irradiation. Herein, we report a helical fixed‐bed photocatalytic flow reactor consisting of a FEP tube packed with TiO2‐coated zircon beads ...

Nitrogen-15 Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy. VII. Chemical Shifts of para-Substituted Nitrobenzenes [PDF]
The ^(15)N chemical shifts of a series of para-substituted nitrobenzenes have been measured. Comparison with the para-^(13)C chemical shifts in monosubstituted benzenes and with ^(19)F chemical shifts in para-substituted fluorobenzenes, indicates that ...

Main Group Metals in Redox Catalysis
Main group metal redox catalysis is emerging as a credible alternative to transition metal chemistry. Elements from groups 13 to 15 now enable diverse catalytic manifolds, driven by ligand design and control of electronic structure. This review highlights recent advances, key design principles, and remaining challenges, positioning main group metals as

Synthesis of Borneol‐Polymers as Fluorescent Sensors for Pollutant Detection
ABSTRACT In this work, a borneol‐derived monomer was employed to synthesize two novel copolymers, poly(vinyl acetate‐co‐bornyl methacrylate) (CopBM‐1) and poly(p‐acryloyloxybenzaldehyde‐co‐bornyl methacrylate) (CopBM‐2), via radical copolymerization. Both copolymers demonstrated aggregation‐induced emission in DMF at concentrations exceeding 0.04 wt.%.

We designed a bifunctional electrocatalyst to achieve anodic acrylamide oxidation reaction (AOR) for ethanol production and cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) to generate high‐value‐added products while reducing energy consumption. ABSTRACT Concurrent remediation of organic pollutants in wastewater and energy‐efficient hydrogen production is a ...
