The manuscript confirms and expands on previous reports concerning the presence of unusual conjugated hydroxydienoic fatty acids and acetyl‐TAG in the seed oil of Securidaca longipedunculata. The location of acetate only at sn‐2 of TAG was conclusively shown by high resolution NMR and hydroxy seed fatty acids are characterized.

Self‐Assembled Telecom Color Centers in Silicon and Their Growth Environment
Influence of the growth pressure during the formation of self‐assembled color centers in silicon grown by molecular beam epitaxy at ultra‐low temperatures on the color center's photoluminescence spectral signature. The growth pressure crucially determines color center selectivity, as evidenced by G‐centers, W‐centers, and T‐centers, matrix purity, and ...

Quantum‐Level Influences on Enzyme Reactions and Their Ripple Effects on Biological Phenomena
Because living organisms are ultimately composed of atoms and molecules, quantum‐mechanical effects are expected to contribute to biological phenomena. Quantum biology seeks to elucidate life processes from a quantum‐mechanical perspective. This review discusses how quantum‐level effects, including quantum tunneling, may propagate from enzymatic proton‐

Abstract Improving fertilizer use efficiency is essential for reducing environmental pollution, sustaining agricultural production, and maximizing the economic profitability of crop production systems. This study tested the hypothesis that the formulation strategy of biochar‐based fertilizers, rather than nutrient addition alone, is associated with ...

Aim The aim of this study was to develop a novel workflow to identify human urine biomarkers for drugs of abuse and new psychoactive substances. Metabolites of amphetamine, cocaine, LSD, MDMA, methamphetamine, THC, MDMB‐CHMICA, and MDPPP were first identified in a zebrafish embryo (ZE) metabolism study followed by comparison to most abundant human ...
