Dynamic studies of nitrophenols sorption on perfil in a fixed-bed column

open access: yesMacedonian Journal of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, 2008
The adsorption of two substituted nitrophenols, namely 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) and 2,4-dinitrophenol (2,4-DNP), from aqueous solutions onto perfil was studied using a fixed bed column.

Monitoring of Nitrophenols and Insecticides in the Daecheong Lake, Served as Resources of Drinking Water

open access: yes대한환경공학회지, 2020
Objectives:This study aimed to investigate distributions of three nitrophenols (4-nitrophenol, 2,4-dinitrophenol, 2-methyl-4,6-dinitrophenol) and five insecticides (acetamiprid, dinotefuran, thiacloprid, triflumuron, chlorfluazuron) in the Daecheong lake

Use of redox mediators for the enhanced degradation of selected nitrophenols

open access: yesApplied Water Science, 2019
In the present study, sequential anaerobic–aerobic treatment was used for the enhanced degradation of selected nitrophenols. Five identical reactors were used to assess the degradation of 2-nitrophenol and 2,4-dinitrophenol. Reactor 1 was used as control,

Imidazolium 4-nitrophenolate 4-nitrophenol monohydrate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2007
In the title compound, C3H5N2+·C6H4NO3−·C6H5NO3·H2O, the imidazolium ring is planar to within 0.002 A and the nitro groups are approximately coplanar with the benzene rings to which they are bonded in both the 4-nitrophenolate and the 4-nitrophenol molecules [dihedral angles = 4.7 (1) and 1.1 (1)°, respectively].

In-situ sampling of nitrophenols in industrial wastewaters using diffusive gradients in thin films based on lignocellulose-derived activated carbons

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Research, 2019
Nitrophenols (such as o-nitrophenol (ONP), p-nitrophenol (PNP), and 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP)) are priority environmental pollutants. Their toxicity is pH dependent, and these molecular species of nitrophenols exhibit higher toxicity than their anionic ...

Functionality-based formation of secondary organic aerosol from m-xylene photooxidation [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics, 2022
Photooxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) produces condensable oxidized organics (COOs) to yield secondary organic aerosol (SOA), but the fundamental chemical mechanism for gas-to-particle conversion remains uncertain.
