T细胞在免疫监视和抗肿瘤中的重要作用已有较深入的研究。近几年来又发现天然杀伤细胞(NaturaI Killer CeII,NK细胞)不依赖抗体或补体,也不需预先致敏就能溶解多种的肿瘤细胞。因此,人们提出了NK细胞在抗肿瘤中的独特作用——免疫监视功能。动物实验发现肿瘤生长旺盛时,宿主NK细胞活性降低。在NK细胞活性高的受体内接种肿瘤,肿瘤的生长情况较在NK细胞活性低的受体内差。在人类的一些癌肿患者NK细胞活性也是低下的。提示了NK细胞的功能与肿瘤发生发展的关系。

干扰素在体外对放疗后鼻咽癌病人自然杀伤细胞功能的影响 [PDF]
自然杀伤(NK)细胞在体内可以抑制肿瘤的发生,发展和转移,是机体执行免疫监视功能的重要效应细胞。NK细胞对肿瘤细胞的杀伤作用受到很多因素影响和调节。最近Brovall等人报告,电离辐射在体外可以抑制人NK细胞的活性。为了解按受放疗的肿瘤病人NK细胞功能的改变,并寻找对这种变化进行调整的办法,我们进行了干扰素对放疗后鼻咽癌病人NK细胞功能影响的初步观察。

采用单个细胞水平细胞毒方法研究比较了正常人外周血自然杀伤(NK)细胞对不同靶细胞结合与杀伤活性的差别。发现NK细胞对人胚胎成纤维细胞和低分化鼻咽癌(CNE-2)细胞的结合率明显高于对人成骨肉瘤细胞(OS-732)和PLC/PRF/5人肝癌细胞,结合并杀伤新鲜切除人肝癌细胞,而对同一病人的癌周肝细胞则无作用;在同一株CNE-2细胞中,NK多选择性地与核浆比例大的靶细胞结合。以上结果说明NK细胞在发挥自然细胞毒过程中具有一定的选择性,选择性地结合并杀伤分化差或幼稚的靶细胞。
