Quantum Chemistry Investigation of Linear and Nonlinear (chir)optical Properties of Oligoamide Foldamers

open access: yesChemistryEurope, Volume 4, Issue 4, April 2026.
The linear and nonlinear (chir)optical properties of four oligoamide foldamers with different donor groups are studied by means of time‐dependent density functional theory calculations. It is shown that stronger donors yield larger hyperpolarizabilities due to low‐lying charge–transfer states. The agreement with the experiments concerning the key bands

NLO photon parton parametrization

open access: yes, 2005
An NLO photon parton parametrization is presented based on the existing $F_2^ $ measurements from $e^+e^-$ data and the low-$x$ proton structure function from $ep$ interactions. Also included in the extraction of the NLO parton distribution functions are the dijets data coming from $ p \to j_1 + j_2 +X$.

Multipath-Assisted Ultra-Wideband Vehicle Localization in Underground Parking Environment Using Ray-Tracing

open access: yesSensors
In complex underground parking scenarios, non-line-of-sight (NLOS) obstructions significantly impede positioning signals, presenting substantial challenges for accurate vehicle localization.

Analysis of Machine Learning-Based NLOS Signal Identification Algorithm for UWB Indoor Localization Using CIR Waveform Features [PDF]

open access: yesThe International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences
Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology stands out among numerous indoor positioning techniques due to its high operating frequency, low interception capability, resistance to multipath effects, and strong penetration.

RM-CSTV: An effective high-resolution method of non-line-of-sight millimeter-wave radar 3-D imaging

open access: yesNational Science Open
Non-line-of-sight (NLOS) imaging is a novel radar sensing technology that enables the reconstruction of hidden targets. However, it may suffer from synthetic aperture length reduction caused by ambient occlusion. In this study, a complex total variation (

A Post-Processing Multipath/NLoS Bias Estimation Method Based on DBSCAN

open access: yesSensors
Positioning based on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSSs) in urban environments always suffers from multipath and Non-Line-of-Sight (NLoS) effects. In such conditions, the GNSS pseudorange measurements can be affected by biases disrupting the GNSS-

Method 2 at NLO

open access: yes, 2004
This note describes a theoretical study of Wbb and Wjj final states at the Tevatron using the NLO program MCFM. We extensively study the effect of NLO corrections with respect to variations of input parameters such as the minimum jet p_T and the choice of renormalization and factorization scales.

Indoor Mobile Localization in Wireless Sensor Network under Unknown NLOS Errors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2013
Localization is one of the key techniques in wireless sensor network. One of the main problems in indoor mobile localization is non-line-of-sight (NLOS) propagation. And the NLOS effects will lead to a large localization error. So the NLOS problem is the

Link Gain and Pulse Width Broadening Evaluation of Non-Line-of-Sight Optical Wireless Scattering Communication Over Broad Spectra

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
In addition to large path loss, non-line-of-sight (NLOS) optical wireless scattering communication suffers time dispersion due to the multipath nature of the NLOS scattering channel.
