Photoinduced Selective Construction of Densely Functionalized Spirocyclic Ethers With Carbyne Equivalents

A reactivity programmed cascade between carbyne equivalents and allylic benzoates was developed that sequentially orchestrates all three reactivity modes of carbyne equivalents, enabling the rapid installation of three σ‐bonds at a single carbon center and providing efficient, scalable access to structurally diverse spirocyclic ethers. Photoenzymatic Hydroalkylation Enables Streamlined Access to Aryl Glutarimide Precursors

We report a photoenzymatic hydroalkylation that enables streamlined, stereocontrolled access to aryl glutarimide precursors relevant to targeted protein degradation. Engineered flavin‐dependent “ene”‐reductases provide broad scope and high enantioselectivity through a distinct electron transfer–enantioselective proton transfer pathway.

2D UiO‐66‐NH2/MoS2 was fabricated via an aqueous synthesis method to in situ encapsulation of MoS2 with 2D UiO‐66‐NH2 MOF. The humidity‐resistant NO2 sensing of 2D UiO‐66‐NH2/MoS2 at room temperature was accordingly enhanced by MOF encapsulation layer, along with the selectivity and stability.

Atomically Dispersed Cobalt on Ionic Carbon Nitrides for Selective and Efficient Nitrate Electroreduction to Ammonia

By exploiting the structural benefits of PHI, we synthesized CoPHI with atomically dispersed cobalt sites at high density. This architecture enables efficient nitrate ion adsorption, promotes water dissociation, and enhances *H generation on the catalyst surface, thereby significantly improving electrochemical nitrate reduction performance.
