Tumor‐Derived Exosomes Deliver Membrane‐Bound Fgl2 to Activate FcγRIIB‐Mediated Immunosuppression in Myeloid‐Derived Suppressor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the Fgl2‐FcγRIIB signaling axis is a key mechanism by which MDSCs mediate tumor immune evasion. Tumor‐derived exosomes systemically activate MDSCs via this pathway, positioning this axis as a promising broad‐spectrum target for cancer immunotherapy.

Disrupted Topological Organization in White Matter Networks in Unilateral Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroscience, 2021
Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) is a sudden-onset hearing impairment that rapidly develops within 72 h and is mostly unilateral. Only a few patients can be identified with a defined cause by routine clinical examinations. Recently, some studies

Targeting Supramolecular Active Complexes of Nav1.7/Nav1.8 to Relieve Chronic Neuropathic Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In mice and patients with severe chronic neuropathic pain (NP), Nav1.7, Nav1.8, TrkB, and five cytoskeletal proteins form supramolecular active complexes (SMACs) with polygonal lattice structures as noxious signal amplifiers in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons.

Resolution of the Generalized Eigenvalue Problem in the Neutron Diffusion Equation Discretized by the Finite Volume Method

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Numerical methods are usually required to solve the neutron diffusion equation applied to nuclear reactors due to its heterogeneous nature. The most popular numerical techniques are the Finite Difference Method (FDM), the Coarse Mesh Finite Difference ...

2D Inorganic Electrides: Interstitial Electrons as Key Drivers of Multifunctional Properties and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Eight AB‐type 2D inorganic electrides with negatively charged transition metals are theoretically designed. Their monolayers exhibit intrinsic magnetic ordering, rich topological phases, and ultralow work functions. Supported metal Ru on these 2D inorganic electrides effectively alleviates hydrogen poisoning and enables efficient ammonia synthesis ...

Analytic Basis Function Expansion Nodal Method for Neutron Diffusion Equations in Triangular Geometry

open access: yes, 2010
An analytic basis function expansion nodal method for directly solving the two-group neutron diffusion equation in the triangular geometry is proposed in the present paper. In this method, the distribution of neutron flux is expanded by a set of analytic
