Assessing the Powder Bed Fusion–Laser Beam Potential of Glass‐Forming Alloys Using Single and Multitrack Laser Glazing Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Characterizations of the expanse of processes parameter combinations that can be used to minimize cracking and porosity while optimizing crystallization and hardness are used to assess laser processing of four glass‐forming alloys. The set of viable alloys for laser additive manufacturing is not the same as for suction casting; some alloys are common ...

Physical and subjective studies of aircraft interior noise and vibration [PDF]

open access: yes
Measurements to define and quantify the interior noise and vibration stimuli of aircraft are reviewed as well as field and simulation studies to determine the subjective response to such stimuli, and theoretical and experimental studies to predict and ...

Spray Deposition for Solvent Annealing of Hybrid Poly(3,4‐Ethylenedioxythiophene) Polystyrene Sulfonate Cellulose Silver Nanowire Composite Electrodes Using a Roll‐to‐Roll Coater

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The fabrication and post‐treatment via solvent annealing of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate‐based electrodes using spray deposition in a roll‐to‐roll setup are presented. The decrease in sheet resistance and its correlation with nanostructure and molecular structure in the electrodes as a function of the processing parameters is ...

Maximum principle for discrete-time control systems driven by fractional noises and related backward stochastic difference equations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this paper, the optimal control for discrete-time systems driven by fractional noises is studied. A stochastic maximum principle is obtained by introducing a backward stochastic difference equation contains both fractional noises and the constructed white noises. The solution of the backward stochastic difference equations is also investigated.
