Noise immunity property of relaxation oscillator

2016 URSI Asia-Pacific Radio Science Conference (URSI AP-RASC), 2016
In wearable and IoT applications, due to its advantages in low power, small size and robust noise properties, relaxation oscillators are often used for clock distribution of the system. In this paper, the electromagnetic noise immunity of the relaxation oscillator is discussed. Both differential and common mode voltage noise will be considered.

Periodic detector for the noise immune VOX Periodic detector for noise immune VOX

Ocean '74 - IEEE International Conference on Engineering in the Ocean Environment, 1974
The conventional method of obtaining voice operated keying (VOX) depends on sensing energy level. This assumes that the speech signal will produce a signal level which is greater than the noise and the circuit would be set to actuate when the signal exceeded some preadjusted threshold.

NOISE IMMUNITY OF ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS

Naval Engineers Journal, 1967
When electronic building‐block systems are employed in industrial control and data‐processing installations particular attention has to be paid to the immunity to noise, either from inherent or extraneous sources. On the one hand it is possible for powerful noise sources to be present in close proximity to the electronic equipment and, on the other ...

Symmetric noise-immune quantum key distribution

Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics/International Quantum Electronics Conference and Photonic Applications Systems Technologies, 2004
We present quantum key distribution schemes that are symmetric (Alice and Bob receive photons from a central source, and thus may have passive setups) and noise-immune (require no alignment) for both polarization and phase ...

Noise-immune codes based on permutations

2018 IEEE 9th International Conference on Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies (DESSERT), 2018
This paper noise-resistant codes on permutations are proposed and researched in order to use them for reliable information transfer and storage. An error detection method and an estimation of noise immunity for codes on permutations are proposed. The absolute and relative redundancy of codes on permutations and their influence on the information ...

Noise immunity of pulse wave contour analysis

Izmeritel`naya Tekhnika, 2019
This article is devoted to analyzing the noise immunity of pulse waveform contour analysis. Different approaches to the implementation of the pulse waveform contour analysis were considered. It was demonstrated that a classical approach for the morphological analysis of the pulse wave based on using the stiffness index and the reflection index do not ...

Three-dimensional noise-immune phase unwrapping algorithm

Applied Optics, 2001
The classical problem of phase unwrapping in two dimensions, that of how to create a path-independent unwrapped map, is extended to the case of a three-dimensional phase distribution. Whereas in two dimensions the path dependence problem arises from isolated phase singularity points, in three dimensions the phase singularities are shown to form closed ...

On higher order noise immune perceptrons

IJCNN'01. International Joint Conference on Neural Networks. Proceedings (Cat. No.01CH37222), 2002
Details a systematic method for significantly enhancing the noise margins of very fast threshold gates. The method is based on adding nonlinear terms determined from the Boolean form of the linearly separable (threshold) function to be implemented. It follows that linearly separable functions can be computed with high noise immunity by higher order ...

Troposphere communication systems noise-immunity estimation

2013 International Siberian Conference on Control and Communications (SIBCON), 2013
A noise-immunity of systems with different modulation types applying to troposphere communication is researched. An OFDM-signals usage efficiently contends with fading and inter-symbol interference on high communication speeds is analyzed. Interconnection between OFDM and another modulation types explored, OFDM advantages in case of high noses ...

Certain properties of noise-immune automata

Cybernetics, 1988
Summary: We discuss the following aspects of the theory of noise-immune automata: analysis of the properties of connected and strongly subautomata, factor automata, and direct automata products. The results are discussed for automata without outputs but can be naturally extended to finite Mealy automata.
