Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

An Intellectual–Analytical Platform for Assessing the Psychophysiological Load on Flight Instructors

open access: yesApplied Sciences
This study aimed to develop an intellectual and analytical platform for assessing the psychophysiological load on flight instructors in a flight school (general aviation). As part of this study, an information model for evaluating the working environment’

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

The effectiveness of noise protection of the green spaces of the city of Bryansk

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Ecology and Life Safety
The most serious negative factor for life, and even more so for human recreation in urban conditions, is urban noise, the level of which has increased significantly recently. The city of Bryansk is also an exception - the administrative center of the Non-

Light and noise conditions of buildings for breeding dairy cows

open access: yesResearch in Agricultural Engineering, 2010
Check measurement of the illuminance, the uniformity ratio of illuminance and noise level was made in the selected stable building to prove quality of lightning both for service workers and the cattle. The measurement discovered that the noise level, the

福建省地震台网预警能力评估

open access: yesDizhen xuebao, 2023

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.

Studying the Effect of Noise Barrier Characteristics on Traffic Noise in Urban Areas

open access: yesCivil and Environmental Engineering
This research aims to identify the optimal noise concrete barrier mix through two critical stages. The initial step involves calibrating a traffic noise model via a field survey at 18 locations, encompassing volume counts and noise levels at varying ...
