Noise Figure Measurement of Differential Amplifiers Using non-Ideal Baluns
This paper analyzes the noise and gain measurement of microwave differential amplifiers using two passive baluns. A general model of the baluns is considered, including potential losses and phase/amplitude unbalances.

NOISE AND VIBRATION EFFECTS ON HUMAN ORGANISM, PRODUCED BY THE DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES OF THE PINOASA MINIER PERIMETER [PDF]
At present, noise pollution along with atmospheric pollution and waste management are serious problems faced by Europe's population. According to World Health Organization statistics, half of Europeans live in permanent noise and one third suffer from ...

Reduction of Multiplicative Noise in Radar Images
Introduction. A radar image is an image obtained by remote sensing the earth's surface with a radar device. Radar images are characterized by background graininess caused by speckle noise, which should be filtered to improve the quality of radar images ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Estimation of Regression Parameters from Noise Multiplied Data
This paper considers the scenario that all data entries in a confidentialised unit record file were masked by multiplicative noises, regardless of whether unit records are sensitive or not and regardless of whether the masked variables are dependent or ...

Noise monitoring in primary schools: comparisons between different time-dependent parameters for acoustic performance evaluation [PDF]
The A-weighted equivalent sound level is commonly used to describe or regulate environmental noise over a defined time interval. Although it is very convenient and easy to compare noise limits or requirements, it does not provide summary information on ...

Noise shielding surrogate models using dynamic artificial neural networks
The optimal design methodologies in aeronautics are known to be constrained by the computational burden required by direct simulations. Due to this reason, the development of efficient metamodelling techniques represents nowadays an imperative need for ...

NOISE POLLUTION IN THE COURSE OF THE STEPS OF PREPARING THE MINING FIELD FOR THE OPERATION OF THE OPEN CAST MINE PINOASA [PDF]
Noise (or sound) pollution consists of sounds produced by human activity or machinery that affect or unbalance human or animal activity. The English corespondent of pollution is "noise" that comes from the Latin word "noxia", which could be translated ...
