Suppression Method of Optical Noises in Resonator-Integrated Optic Gyroscopes

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Resonator-integrated optical gyroscopes have advantages such as all-solid-state, on-chip integration, miniaturized structure, and high precision. However, many factors deteriorate the performance and push it far from the shot-noise limited theoretical ...

Research on extraction method of tunnel magnetic resonance detection signal based on collaborative filtering

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2022
Magnetic resonance detection of tunnel as a non-invasive, direct and quantitative geophysical method for detecting groundwater has attracted much attention in the research of tunnel water hazard early warning. In view of the complex environment where the

Suppression of Cavity Time-Delay Signature Using Noise-Phase-Modulated Feedback

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
We propose reconfiguration of the conventional feedback scheme to suppress the external-cavity time-delay signature (TDS) by adding noise phase modulation in the feedback of semiconductor laser.

Suppression of polarization random noise in a two-dimensional force sensorbased on random forest [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Sensors and Sensor Systems
To improve the accuracy of polarization random noise signal recognition and the noise suppression effect, a method of polarization random noise suppression in a two-dimensional force sensor based on random forest is proposed.

Noise Suppression Method of Microseismic Signal Based on Complementary Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition and Wavelet Packet Threshold

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Aiming at the situation that complementary ensemble empirical mode decomposition (CEEMD) noise suppression method may produce redundant noise and wavelet transform easily loses high-frequency detail information, considering wavelet packet transform can ...

Chamber investigation and evaluation of acoustic properties of materials/Kameriniai medžiagų akustinių savybių tyrimai ir vertinimas/Камерные исследования и оценка акустических свойств материалов

open access: yesJournal of Environmental Engineering and Landscape Management, 2009
Traffic‐generated noise accounts for 60–80% of the noise prevailing in towns. With the aim of reducing the impact of noise on humans, measures and methods of fighting noise in towns and residential areas should be developed.

Speech Denoising Using Transform Domains in the Presence of Impulsive and Gaussian Noises

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
The speech denoising problem in the presence of mixed impulsive and Gaussian noises is investigated by exploiting transform domains. To that end, the proposed noise suppression scheme is a cascaded form consisting of an impulsive noise suppression module

Sensor noise suppression [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Neuroscience Methods, 2008
We present a method to remove the effects of sensor-specific noise in multiple-channel recordings such as magnetoencephalography (MEG) or electroencephalography (EEG). The method assumes that every source of interest is picked up by more than one sensor, as is the case with systems with spatially dense sensors.

Suppression of Oscillations by Lévy Noise [PDF]

open access: yesUkrainian Journal of Physics, 2022
We find the analytic solution of a pair of stochastic equations with arbitrary forces and multiplicative Lévy noises in a steady-state nonequilibrium case. This solution shows that Lévy flights always suppress a quasiperiodic motion related to the limit cycle.
