Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

THE COSTS AND BENEFITS OF ROMANIA'S ADERATION TO THE EURO ZONE AND ADOPTION OF THE UNIQUE CURRENCY [PDF]
The accession to the Economic and Monetary Union, though not a criterion of accessing the European Union, involves the compliance with the convergence criteria of Maastricht: stability of the exchange rate, of interest rates, of the inflation, of the ...

ISSUES REGARDING THE NOMINAL CONVERGENCE CRITERIA FOR JOINING THE EURO AREA [PDF]
Romania, a member state of the European Union, has committed itself to adopting the euro under the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, which means meeting nominal and real convergence criteria, as well as achieving parameters for the ...

Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...

This plot compares experimental tensile stress–strain curves (with 4 different strain rates) and corresponding modelled curves (obtained using the optimised sets of Voce and Miller–Norton parameter values shown). The inferred M‐N values, characterizing the creep, are very similar to those obtained via conventional creep testing.

EXCHANGE RATE STRATEGIES [PDF]
stract Romania joined the European Union on 1 January 2007, the nominal and real convergence process towards the euro area will have to continue, maybe even more accelerated than before. Romania's objective is to enter the Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM

Institutional, nominal and real convergence in Europe
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to assess nominal and real convergence within the EU countries; both processes have been largely shaped by the advances in institutional integration. The review section provides a theoretical framework to investigate the manifold links between real, nominal and institutional convergence.

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.
