Possessor raising and structural variations within the vP domain

open access: yesGlossa, 2023
In this paper, we analyze external possessors in Brazilian Portuguese, showing that those realizing Nominative-Case (Nominative-possessors) are not syntactically uniform, varying derivationally.

Pharmacologic Modulation of ARID3A with Rimegepant Reactivates Type I Interferon Signaling and Sensitizes Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer to PD‐1 Blockade

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies ARID3A as a key immunosuppressive transcription factor in TNBC. Its inhibition activates the type I IFN pathway, boosting CD8+ T cell infiltration and sensitizing tumors to anti‐PD‐1. The FDA‐approved migraine drug Rimegepant targets ARID3A, enhances immunotherapy efficacy in preclinical models, and establishes a druggable axis to

Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cancer immunotherapy faces challenges in predicting treatment responses and understanding resistance mechanisms. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) offer powerful solutions for cancer immunotherapy in patient stratification, biomarker discovery, treatment strategy optimization, and foundation model development.

Phasal transfer and anti-locality: Movement of objects in Japanese

open access: yesGlossa, 2023
In this paper, based on an analysis of the scope properties of objects in Japanese, I argue that (i) an entire phase is transferred when a higher phase is completed, and (ii) the movement of objects and adjuncts is constrained by anti-locality.

BIN1 and ALDH1B1 Deficiency in Colonic Smooth Muscle Drives Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Fibrosis in Slow‐Transit Constipation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Slow‐transit constipation (STC) is a disabling motility disorder with unclear smooth‐muscle mechanisms. Spatial proteomic analysis of STC patient colon reveals both the central pathogenic role of smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in STC and novel regulators of intestinal motility, BIN1 and ALDH1B1.

Nominal SOS

open access: yesElectronic Notes in Theoretical Computer Science, 2012
AbstractPlotkinʼs style of Structural Operational Semantics (SOS) has become a de facto standard in giving operational semantics to formalisms and process calculi. In many such formalisms and calculi, the concepts of names, variables and binders are essential ingredients. In this paper, we propose a formal framework for dealing with names in SOS.

ACLY‐Driven Metabolic Reprogramming Promotes Histone Acetylation and Inflammation‐Associated Fibrosis in Chronic Kidney Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals a citrate–ACLY–H3K27ac metabolic–epigenetic axis driving inflammatory gene activation and kidney fibrosis, highlighting ACLY inhibition as a potential therapeutic strategy for chronic kidney disease (CKD). ABSTRACT The mechanisms by which metabolic stress drives epigenetic dysregulation and fibrosis in chronic kidney disease (CKD ...

Combining Spatial Multi‐Omics Data to Decipher Spatial Domains and Elucidate Cell Heterogeneity Based on Self‐Supervised Graph Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐supervised multi‐view graph fusion framework integrates spatial multi‐omics, excelling in domain identification and denoising. It reconstructs spatial pseudo‐expression, jointly analyzes multi‐omics data, infers RNA velocity, predicts spatial omics features from single‐cell multi‐omics, and detects spatially dark genes and transcription factors,
