We report a lipid‐droplet‐engineered, gallium‐loaded sonodynamic therapeutic platform (LDTG) incorporated into a bilayer microneedle (MN) patch co‐delivering all‐trans retinoic acid (ATRA), termed LDTG A‐MNs, for synergistic antibacterial therapy and accelerated wound repair.

An immunoregulatory hydrogel based on sodium ascorbate (SA)‐accelerated gelation and in situ self‐mineralization is prepared here. Such a hydrogel is constructed by mixing benzaldehyde‐ and cyanoacetate‐functionalized dextran with silver nitrate (AgNO3) and SA, enabling the ultrafast solidification and in situ self‐mineralization of silver ...

Non-aureus staphylococci (NAS) are an essential group of bacteria causing antimicrobial resistant intramammary infections in livestock, particularly dairy cows. Therefore, bacteriophages emerge as a potent bactericidal agent for NAS mastitis. This study aimed to obtain NAS-specific bacteriophages using bacterial strains isolated from cows with mastitis,

A sprayable near‐infrared‐activated nanoplatform incorporating MXene, ZnHCF nanozyme, and deferoxamine efficiently breaks the vicious cycle of diabetic wounds. Upon irradiation, interfacial electron transfer and photothermal effects enhance multi‐enzyme activity, enabling explosive ROS elimination, alleviation of hypoxia, and controlled DFO release ...

The mutability of staphyloccal biofilms [PDF]
In their natural environment, bacteria are often found as sessile populations, known as biofilms, typified by surface adherence and extracellular matrix production.

Treatment‐resistant wounds caused by polymicrobial biofilms are refractory to conventional therapies due to the dense extracellular matrices. We developed μBLAST, a microblasting wound dressing that combines MnO2‐doped biosilica and a H2O2‐releasing mesh to generate localized oxygen microbubbles that mechanically disrupt biofilms.
