Extremal curves in single-trace $$T\overline{T }$$ -holography

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this paper, we continue the study of single-trace $$T\overline{T }$$ -holography where the boundary field theory can be realized as a CFT2 deformed by a single-trace irrelevant operator of dimension (2, 2) and dual spacetime geometry is AdS 3 smoothly

Revolutionising Agricultural Sustainability: New ‘Furrow Tillage’ can Mitigate Short‐Term Soil‐to‐Atmosphere CO2 Flux and Promote Soil‐Plant‐Microbe Health

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Furrow tillage resolves the conventional‐vs.‐no‐tillage trade‐off by simultaneously cutting CO2 efflux to 2.0–3.0 g C m−2 d−1 and unlocking high nutrient availability for the rice rhizosphere. This scalable agronomic solution strengthens soil health, enhances plant physiology, reshapes microbial metabolism, and shifts paddy systems toward a net ...

Aspects of holographic string theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this thesis we study several aspects of gauge/gravity dualities. We start by analyzing the structure of the UV divergences of the Wilson loop for a general gauge/gravity duality.

Dynamics of a Higgs phase transition in the Klebanov-Witten theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study the dynamics of a first-order phase transition in a strongly coupled gauge theory at non-zero temperature and chemical potential, computing nucleation rates and wall speeds from first principles.

Causal dynamical triangulation for non-critical open-closed string field theory

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2014
We extend the 2 dimensional Causal Dynamical Triangulation (CDT) model from the usual model of closed string to the one of open-closed string. The matrix-vector model describing the loop gas model is modified so as to possess the nature of the CDT, i.e. the time foliation structure.

Non-Critical String Theory Formulation of Microtubule Dynamics and Quantum Aspects of Brain Function

open access: yes, 1995
Microtubule (MT) networks, subneural paracrystalline cytosceletal structures, seem to play a fundamental role in the neurons. We cast here the complicated MT dynamics in the form of a $1+1$-dimensional non-critical string theory, thus enabling us to provide a consistent quantum treatment of MTs, including enviromental {\em friction} effects. We suggest,

AI‐Assisted Engineering of Glycyrrhizic Acid/Simvastatin Nanocrystals for Multifunctional Treatment of Bacterial Osteomyelitis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through AI‐assisted screening from FDA‐approved API to overcome the limitations of bacterial osteomyelitis treatment, glycyrrhizic acid and simvastatin are identified as a multifunctional combination capable of self‐assembling into mechanism‐targeting nanocrystals that effectively neutralize reactive oxygen species, suppress M1 macrophage polarization,

The Internal and External Problems of String Theory - A Philosophical View [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
String theory is at the moment the only advanced approach to a unification of all interactions, including gravity. But, in spite of the more than thirty years of its existence, it does not make any empirically testable predictions, and it is completely ...

Non-critical NSR string field theory and discrete states interaction in 2D supergravity

open access: yes, 1992
String field theory for the non-critical NSR string is described. In particular it gives string field theory for the 2D super-gravity coupled to a $\hat{c}=1$ matter field. For this purpose double-step pictures changing operators for the non-critical NSR string are constructed.

Human Dental Pulp Stem Cell Secretome Restores Ischemic Stroke–Impaired Motor and Cognitive Functions by Reprogramming Redox and Inflammatory Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human dental pulp stem cell secretome emerges as a cell‐free therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke by reprogramming redox and inflammatory signaling. hDPSC secretome‐derived antioxidant and immunomodulatory factors suppress the TLR4–NOX–ROS–NF‐κB axis, reduce microglial inflammatory responses and apoptosis, and promote neurogenesis, angiogenesis ...
