Inflation with a graceful exit in a random landscape
We develop a stochastic description of small-field inflationary histories with a graceful exit in a random potential whose Hessian is a Gaussian random matrix as a model of the unstructured part of the string landscape.

Scaling of 1 < d < 25 dimensional non-critical string theory
We consider scaling of 1 < d < 25 dimensional non-critical string theory. Starting with a trivial string theory in d dimensions, we follow a deformation parameter to find a new fixed point. The “string susceptibility” of the new fixed point is calculated.

ML Workflows for Screening Degradation‐Relevant Properties of Forever Chemicals
The environmental persistence of per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) necessitates efficient remediation strategies. This study presents physics‐informed machine learning workflows that accurately predict critical degradation properties, including bond dissociation energies and polarizability.

Locality and causality properties of light cone string field theory [PDF]
The recent discovery of a new maximally supersymmetric background for the type IIB superstring theory has revived the interest in light cone string field theory.

Sustainable Materials Design With Multi‐Modal Artificial Intelligence
Critical mineral scarcity, high embodied carbon, and persistent pollution from materials processing intensify the need for sustainable materials design. This review frames the problem as multi‐objective optimization under heterogeneous, high‐dimensional evidence and highlights multi‐modal AI as an enabling pathway.

Exotic branes in string theory [PDF]
Besides the familiar D-branes, string theory contains a vast number of other non-perturbative objects. While a complete classification is lacking, many of these objects are related to each other through various dualities.

In this work we propose a statistical approach to handling sources of theoretical uncertainty in string theory models of inflation. By viewing a model of inflation as a probabilistic graph, we show that there is an inevitable information bottleneck ...

Efficient Screening of Organic Singlet Fission Molecules Using Graph Neural Networks
A high‐throughput screening framework based on graph neural networks (GNNs) and multi‐level validation facilitates the identification of singlet fission (SF) candidates. By efficiently predicting excitation energies across 20 million molecules, and integrating TDDFT calculations, synthetic accessibility assessments, and GW+BSE calculations, this ...

Early Retinal UCHL1 Dysregulation Coupled With Synaptic Loss Reflects Alzheimer's Disease Severity
This study identifies synapse‐enriched deubiquitinase UCHL1 as an early Aβ‐responsive regulator of retinal synaptopathy in Alzheimer's disease. Retinal UCHL1 loss accompanies excitatory synapse degeneration, p75NTR activation, and neuroinflammation, and predicts Braak stage and cognitive decline. Aβ42 fibrils trigger synaptic and UCHL1 depletion before
