Spatiotemporal coherence of non-equilibrium multimode photon condensates
We report on the observation of quantum coherence of Bose–Einstein condensed photons in an optically pumped, dye-filled microcavity. We find that coherence is long-range in space and time above condensation threshold, but short-range below threshold ...

The condensation process today requires more accurate, efficient and well-tested modeling approaches. In this article the numerical simulations of monatomic vapor condensation on its liquid phase have been carried out by applying the S-model kinetic equation, the Molecular Dynamics approach and the Moment Method.

Effect of Superheat Steam on Ejector in Distilled Water Preparation System for Medical Injection
In this study, a wet steam model was used to investigate the effect of steam superheat on ejector performance and non-equilibrium condensation phenomena. The simulation data for the ejector were validated with experimental data. The simulations show that

Non-Equilibrium Evaporation/Condensation Model [PDF]
A new mathematical model for non-equilibrium evaporation/condensation including boiling effect is proposed. A simplified differential-algebraic system of equations is obtained. A code to solve numerically this differential-algebraic system has been developed.

Non-equilibrium Bose–Einstein condensation in photonic systems
The study of Bose-Einstein condensation effects in photonic systems has revealed a rich phenomenology related to spontaneous coherence generation in driven-dissipative spatially extended systems and is providing a new platform for the study of non-equilibrium phase transitions and critical behaviours.

DNA Condensation by Field‐Induced Non‐Equilibrium Noise [PDF]
AbstractDNA molecules under good solvent conditions condense when subjected to strong AC electrical fields. It is shown that AC electrical fields couple charge fluctuations to molecular shape fluctuations, which produces a non‐equilibrium noise source that can dominate over equilibrium thermal noise in the long‐wavelength limit.

Droplet behavior of non-equilibrium condensation in the supersonic separator [PDF]
Supersonic swirling separation plays an important role in the separation of the water vapor and heavy hydrocarbons in natural gas processing. A viscous flow solver with slip model was developed to predict the non-equilibrium condensation phenomenon in supersonic separator. Several sets of experiments were conducted to validate the accuracy of numerical
