TRANSPORT TECHNIQUES FOR NON-GAUSSIANITY [PDF]
This proceedings contribution provides a brief update on the transport approach to calculating the statistics of perturbations produced during inflation. It is based in particular on work in collaboration with Gemma Anderson and David Seery.

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

BackgroundNon-Gaussian noise has become the dominant noise type in industry. However, the epidemiological characteristics of non-Gaussian noise exposure and associated noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) are still unclear.ObjectiveTo summarize the ...

Non-Gaussianity as a particle detector
We study the imprints of massive particles with spin on cosmological correlators. Using the framework of the effective field theory of inflation, we classify the couplings of these particles to the Goldstone boson of broken time translations and the graviton.

Tests for primordial non-Gaussianity [PDF]
We investigate the relative sensitivities of several tests for deviations from Gaussianity in the primordial distribution of density perturbations. We consider models for non-Gaussianity that mimic that which comes from inflation as well as that which comes from topological defects.

Memory and Resting‐State Connectivity in Acute Transient Global Amnesia: A Case–Control fMRI Study
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Transient global amnesia (TGA) is a striking model of isolated amnesia. While hippocampal lesions are well described, the network‐level mechanisms and the precise neuropsychological profile remain debated. Our objective was thus to characterize functional and neuropsychological correlates of acute TGA and their ...

Aspects of time-varying non Gaussian non-linear signal analysis [PDF]
This thesis addresses problems in the field of time-varying, non-Gaussian, non-linear signal processing. It concentrates on developing results in the areas of time-frequency signal analysis and higher-order spectra which are linked by the developing area

On the Shaker Simulation of Wind-Induced Non-Gaussian Random Vibration
Gaussian signal is produced by ordinary random vibration controllers to test the products in the laboratory, while the field data is usually non-Gaussian.

Hierarchy of continuous-variable quantum resource theories
Connections between the resource theories of coherence and purity (or non-uniformity) are well known for discrete-variable, finite-dimensional, quantum systems.
