Orthonormal bases of regular wavelets in spaces of homogeneous type [PDF]
Adapting the recently developed randomized dyadic structures, we introduce the notion of spline function in geometrically doubling quasi-metric spaces. Such functions have interpolation and reproducing properties as the linear splines in Euclidean spaces.

Embeddings of variable Hajlasz-Sobolev spaces into holder spaces of variable order [PDF]
Pointwise estimates in variable exponent Sobolev spaces on quasi-metric measure spaces are investigated. Based on such estimates, Sobolev embeddings into Holder spaces with variable order are obtained.

. Let ( X , d ) be a metric space satisfying the geometrically doubling condition, and be a Borel measure satisfying the upper doubling condition. In this paper, the authors prove the weak type weighted L p ( ) boundedness of the commutators T b ,

Non-homogeneous Square Functions on General Sets : Suppression and Big Pieces Methods [PDF]
We aim to showcase the wide applicability and power of the big pieces and suppression methods in the theory of local Tb theorems. The setting is new: we consider conical square functions with cones {x is an element of R-n \ E : |x-y|

The Wilsonian renormalization group (RG) requires Euclidean signature. The conformal factor of the metric then has a wrong-sign kinetic term, which has a profound effect on its RG properties.

Cayley-Klein Poisson Homogeneous Spaces [PDF]
Producción CientíficaThe nine two-dimensional Cayley–Klein geometries are firstly reviewed by following a graded contraction approach. Each geometry is considered as a set of three symmetrical homogeneous spaces (of points and two kinds of lines), in ...

Logarithm laws and shrinking target properties [PDF]
We survey some of the recent developments in the study of logarithm laws and shrinking target properties for various families of dynamical systems. We discuss connections to geometry, diophantine approximation, and probability theory.Comment: This is a ...

Spread: a measure of the size of metric spaces [PDF]
Motivated by Leinster-Cobbold measures of biodiversity, the notion of the spread of a finite metric space is introduced. This is related to Leinster's magnitude of a metric space.

We deal with homogeneous Besov and Triebel-Lizorkin spaces in the setting of a doubling metric measure space in the presence of a non-negative self-adjoint operator whose heat kernel has Gaussian localization and the Markov property.

We prove weighted boundedness of Calderón–Zygmund and maximal singular operators in generalized Morrey spaces on quasi-metric measure spaces, in general non-homogeneous, only under the growth condition on the measure, for a certain class of weights ...
