ABSTRACT Background Neurotoxicity is a rare, often dose‐limiting adverse effect of methotrexate (MTX) therapy that disproportionally affects Latino children. Factors contributing to the observed disparity are not well understood. This study leveraged admixture mapping to identify genetic regions associated with MTX‐related neurotoxicity susceptibility ...

Fast Non-parametric Action Recognition [PDF]
In this work we propose a method for action recognition which needs no intensive learning stage, and achieves state-of-the-art classification performance. Our work is based on a method presented in the context of image classification. Unlike that method, our approach is well-suited for working with large real-world problems, thanks to an efficient ...

Non-parametric 3D Shape Warping [PDF]
A method is presented for non-rigid alignment of a source shape to a target shape through estimating and interpolating point-wise correspondences between their surfaces given as point clouds. The resulting mapping can be non-smooth and non-isometric, relate shapes across large variations, and find partial matches. It does not require a parametric model

Natural Killer Cells in Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcomas: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Paediatric soft tissue sarcomas (pSTS) are a rare and heterogeneous group of malignant tumours arising in tissues of mesenchymal origin. The role of natural killer (NK) cells in pSTS remains poorly understood, with evidence fragmented across small preclinical studies and early‐phase clinical trials.
