Fatigue Equivalent Stress State Approach Validation in Non-conservative Criteria: a Comparative Study

open access: yesLatin American Journal of Solids and Structures
This paper is concerned with the fatigue prediction models for estimating the multiaxial fatigue limit. An equivalent loading approach with zero out-of-phase angles intended for fatigue limit evaluation under multiaxial loading is used.

Non‐proportional loading in sequentially linear analysis for 3D stress states [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 2019
SummarySequentially linear analysis (SLA), a non‐incremental‐iterative approach towards finite element simulation of quasi‐brittle materials, is based on sequentially identifying a critical integration point in the model, to reduce its strength and stiffness, and the associated critical load multiplier (λcrit), to scale the linear analysis results.

Low cycle fatigue life prediction of 63Sn-37Pb solder under proportional and non-proportional loading

open access: yes, 2019
Multiaxial fatigue tests were conducted on 63Sn-37Pb solder specimens under proportional and non-proportional axial/torsional loading. The von Mises equivalent stress and strain are found to be fitted by the Ramberg-Osgood relationship.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Axial-torsional fatigue and cyclic deformation of 304L stainless steel at room temperature [PDF]

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2019
This work investigates the axial-torsional fatigue and cyclic deformation behaviour of 304L stainless steel at room temperature. Four fully reversed strain-controlled loading paths (axial, torsional, proportional axial-torsional, and 90º out-of-phase ...

Clinical and Biological Features of Response in Resistant Neuroblastoma to 131I‐Metaiodobenzylguanidine Radiotherapy in the Anti‐GD2 Immunotherapy Era

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background 131I‐metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I‐MIBG) radiotherapy is a key treatment for relapsed and refractory (R/R) neuroblastoma (NB). Patients with R/R disease treated in the modern era are increasingly exposed to anti‐GD2 immunotherapy, which exerts selective pressure and may modify both tumor cell state and microenvironment.

Influence of notch sensitivity and crack initiation site on low cycle fatigue life of notched components under multiaxial non-proportional loading [PDF]

open access: yesFracture and Structural Integrity, 2019
A series of strain controlled multiaxial low cycle fatigue (LCF) tests under proportional and non-proportional loading conditions have been conducted on notched specimens. Cylindrical bars of Al 6061 aluminum alloy and AISI 316L stainless steel with four

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

A constitutive, framework for anisotropic sand including non-proportional loading

open access: yes, 2004
An existing platform model for inherently anisotropic sands is extended to account for deformations induced by non-proportional loadings. The platform model is within the framework of critical-state soil mechanics, and the inherent anisotropy is ...

A new multiaxial fatigue life prediction model considering additional hardening effect

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2020
The established linear fatigue life prediction model based on the Miner rule has been widely applied to fatigue life prediction under constant amplitude uniaxial and multiaxial loading.
