Non-sinusoidal Phase Modulations for High Power Laser Performance Control
Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics/International Quantum Electronics Conference, 2009We show numerically and experimentally that use of non-sinusoidal phase modulations instead of sinusoidal modulations improves high power laser performances. We demonstrate that pulse distortions are reduced for a same stimulated Brillouin scattering power threshold.
