FREmu: Power Spectrum Emulator for f(R) Gravity
To investigate gravity in the nonlinear regime of cosmic structure using measurements from stage IV surveys, it is imperative to accurately compute large-scale structure observables, such as nonlinear matter power spectra, for gravity models that extend ...

Degeneracies between Modified Gravity and Baryonic Physics
In order to determine the observable signatures of modified gravity theories, it is important to consider the effect of baryonic physics. We use a modified version of the ISIS code to run cosmological hydrodynamic simulations to study degeneracies ...

Fifth forces and discrete symmetry breaking [PDF]
Modifications of general relativity often involve coupling additional scalar fields to the Ricci scalar, leading to scalar-tensor theories of Brans-Dicke type.

ABSTRACT The ascent of novel alternative methods in drug development spotlights the dual needs for improved biological fidelity to in vivo, along with reproducibility, especially in regulatory applications. The need for pre‐clinical models of patient‐derived endometriosis lesions motivates the development of a vascularizable, completely synthetic ...

Observational Test of f(Q) Gravity with Weak Gravitational Lensing
In this article we confront a class of f ( Q ) gravity models with observational data of galaxy–galaxy lensing. Specifically, we consider f ( Q ) gravity models containing a small quadratic correction when compared with general relativity (GR), and ...

In this paper we study the spectrum of all conformal, N $$ \mathcal{N} $$-extended supergravities ( N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1, 2, 3, 4) in four space-time dimensions.

Inconsistency of islands in theories with long-range gravity
In ordinary gravitational theories, any local bulk operator in an entanglement wedge is accompanied by a long-range gravitational dressing that extends to the asymptotic part of the wedge.

Enhanced Endoscopic Internal Drainage of Gastric Abscess Through Additively Manufactured Stents
Postoperative gastric leaks are often treated with off‐label biliary double‐pigtail stents, yet conventional extruded designs are not optimized for leak anatomy, can migrate, and may limit abscess evacuation. PETALS is introduced to optimize transmural drainage geometry and enable patient‐specific 3D‐printable stents.

Carroll versus Galilei gravity
We consider two distinct limits of General Relativity that in contrast to the standard non-relativistic limit can be taken at the level of the Einstein-Hilbert action instead of the equations of motion.
