The Doppler cerebroplacental ratio predicts non‐reassuring fetal status in intrauterine growth restricted fetuses at term

Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research, 2011
AbstractAim:  To investigate whether cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) can be a useful marker to predict non‐reassuring fetal status (NRFS) in small for gestational age (SGA) infants at term.Material and Methods:  Three hundred and nine singleton SGA infants delivered between 37 and 41 weeks of gestation were included in this study. SGA infants were defined

Neuraxial Anesthesia and the Supine Position Cause Non-reassuring Fetal Status

Obstetric Anesthesia, 2020
An 18-year-old woman, G1P0, presents to Labor & Delivery at 40 weeks estimated gestational age with severe labor pain. Her cervix is 2–3 cm dilated and she urgently requests an epidural (L-1). The anesthesia resident places the epidural uneventfully and doses it liberally since the patient complains of severe pain (L-2).

Vasopressin, Used as a Vasopressor During Cystoscopy, Causes Non-reassuring Fetal Status

2020
A 29-year-old pregnant woman, G2P1 at 36 weeks estimated gestational age, had a kidney stone with left hydronephrosis and was undergoing cystoscopy and stone removal under spinal anesthesia. Intrapartum electronic fetal monitoring features associated with a clinical diagnosis of non-reassuring fetal status.

American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology MFM, 2023

Acute tocolysis for intrapartum non-reassuring fetal status: how often does it prevent cesarean delivery? A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.

American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology MFM, 2022
OBJECTIVE The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was to evaluate the effectiveness of intrapartum acute tocolysis for non-reassuring fetal heart rate tracing (NRFHT) in decreasing the incidence of ...
