Decreased fetal movements at home were recorded by a newly developed fetal movement recorder in a case of a non-reassuring fetal status

The Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine, 2013
A fetal movement acceleration measurement (FMAM) recorder was developed for home monitoring of fetal movements. We provided a 32-year-old pregnant woman with the FMAM recorder to home monitor fetal movements, thereby self-recording decreased fetal movements at 30 weeks' gestation.

The Doppler cerebroplacental ratio predicts non‐reassuring fetal status in intrauterine growth restricted fetuses at term

Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research, 2011
AbstractAim:  To investigate whether cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) can be a useful marker to predict non‐reassuring fetal status (NRFS) in small for gestational age (SGA) infants at term.Material and Methods:  Three hundred and nine singleton SGA infants delivered between 37 and 41 weeks of gestation were included in this study. SGA infants were defined

Neuraxial Anesthesia and the Supine Position Cause Non-reassuring Fetal Status

2020
An 18-year-old woman, G1P0, presents to Labor & Delivery at 40 weeks estimated gestational age with severe labor pain. Her cervix is 2–3 cm dilated and she urgently requests an epidural (L-1). The anesthesia resident places the epidural uneventfully and doses it liberally since the patient complains of severe pain (L-2).

Vasopressin, Used as a Vasopressor During Cystoscopy, Causes Non-reassuring Fetal Status

2020
A 29-year-old pregnant woman, G2P1 at 36 weeks estimated gestational age, had a kidney stone with left hydronephrosis and was undergoing cystoscopy and stone removal under spinal anesthesia. During surgery the fetal heart rate (FHR) and uterine contractions were being monitored externally by a labor and delivery nurse.

Cardiovascular profile score as a predictor of acute intrapartum non-reassuring fetal status in infants with congenital heart defects

The Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine, 2016
To investigate the predictive factors of urgent cesarean delivery (CD) due to acute intrapartum non-reassuring fetal status (NRFS) in infants with congenital heart defects (CHDs).This was a retrospective review of 199 singletons prenatally diagnosed with a CHD and for whom vaginal delivery was attempted in our institution between 2007 and 2014.

Antenatal ultrasound screening using check list before delivery for predicting a non-reassuring fetal status during labor

The Journal of Maternal-Fetal & Neonatal Medicine, 2017
To clarify the effectiveness of ultrasound screening at 36 weeks' gestation for predicting a non-reassuring fetal status during labor (NRFS).A prospective cohort study was conducted between 2012 and 2013. Ultrasound evaluations of umbilical cord and placental abnormalities and fetal biometry were performed among pregnant females at 36 weeks' gestation.
