Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

A novel hypomorphic splice variant in EIF2B5 gene is associated with mild ovarioleukodystrophy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, 2020
Objective To identify the genetic cause in an adult ovarioleukodystrophy patient resistant to diagnosis. Methods We applied whole‐exome sequencing (WES) to a vanishing white matter disease patient associated with premature ovarian failure at 26 years of ...

COMPACT REPRESENTATION OF THE PRIORITY MATRIX WITH HIGH DIMENSIONALITY [PDF]

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики, 2015
We propose methods for compact representation of priority matrix with high dimensionality, which is used to describe priority queueing disciplines of demands in systems with nonhomogeneous load.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

Oscillation analysis in nonlinear differential equations with mixed neutral terms

open access: yesApplied Mathematics in Science and Engineering
In this paper, we study the oscillatory properties of non-canonical neutral differential equations involving superlinear and sublinear terms. We adopt the Riccati technique with various substitutions to analyze the behavior of solutions and establish ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

A sharp oscillation result for second-order half-linear noncanonical delay differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2020
In the paper, new single-condition criteria for the oscillation of all solutions to a second-order half-linear delay differential equation in noncanonical form are obtained, relaxing a traditionally posed assumption that the delay function is ...

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations

open access: yesAdvanced Biology, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2025.
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Recapitulating Endochondral Ossification for Bone Repair: From Development to Engineering Strategy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes the developmental basis of endochondral ossification (ECO) and its applications in bone tissue engineering (BTE). It first outlines the key biological processes and signaling pathways underlying ECO, then discusses biomaterial‐based engineering strategies derived from these principles, and finally highlights future directions for
