Existence of a solution for the fractional differential equation with nonlinear boundary conditions
Using the method of upper and lower solutions and its associated monotone iterative, we present an existence theorem for a nonlinear fractional differential equation with nonlinear boundary ...

Attractors for Parabolic Problems with Nonlinear Boundary Conditions
The authors investigate the long time behaviour of solutions of reaction diffusion systems of the following structure: \[ u_t-\text{div}(a(x)\nabla u)+ \sum B_j(x)\partial_ju+ \lambda u+ f(u)=0\text{ in }\Omega,\quad {\partial u\over\partial n_a}+ g(u)=0\text{ on }\partial\Omega.\tag{1} \] Here \(u=(u_1,\dots,u_m)\), \(m\geq 1\), \(a(x)=\text{diag}(a_1(

Experimental Characterization of Mycelium‐Based Composites Under Multiple Loading Conditions
This study examines the mechanical response of mycelium‐based composites under compression, shear, and tension using mechanical testing and imaging methods. The comparison between unpressed and hot‐pressed specimens shows that hot pressing is associated with higher compression and shear stiffnesses.

Doubly Nonlinear Degenerate Parabolic Systems with Coupled Nonlinear Boundary Conditions
In this paper, we study the global existence and the global nonexistence of doubly nonlinear degenerate parabolic systems with nonlinear boundary conditions. We first prove a local existence result by the regularization method.

This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...

Nonlinear Boundary Conditions in Kirchhoff-Love Plate Theory
Most of the derivations of the mechanical behavior of a plate as the limit behavior of a three-dimensional solid whose thickness tends to zero deal with stationary homogeneous linear boundary conditions on the lateral boundary.

Si‐doped AlCoCrFeNi high‐entropy alloys are synthesized by mechanical alloying to reveal the effect of Si content and milling time on phase evolution, microstructural refinement, and tribological behavior. A transition from FCC to BCC structure, significant grain refinement, and enhanced hardness and wear resistance are achieved, with the 4 at% Si ...
