Nonlinear Helmholtz equations with sign-changing diffusion coefficient
In this paper, we study nonlinear Helmholtz equations with sign-changing diffusion coefficients on bounded domains. The existence of an orthonormal basis of eigenfunctions is established making use of weak $\mathtt{T}$-coercivity theory.

Effect of sintering temperature on microstructure and nonlinear electrical characteristics of ZnO varistor [PDF]
The nonlinear properties of ZBMCCS-based varistors, which are composed of ZnO–Bi2O3–MnO2–Cr2O3–Sb2O3–Co3O4 and SiO2 are studied inrelation to sintering temperature, in the range of 1280–1350∘C.

Improvement of Optical Properties in Hexagonal Index-guiding Photonic Crystal Fiber for Optical Communications [PDF]
Waveguides with low confinement loss, low chromatic dispersion, and low nonlinear effects are used in optical communication systems. Optical fibers can also be employed in such systems.

Modeling nonlinear acoustic waves in media with inhomogeneities in the coefficient of nonlinearity. [PDF]
The refraction and scattering of nonlinear acoustic waves play an important role in the realistic application of medical ultrasound. One cause of these effects is the tissue dependence of the nonlinear medium behavior. A method that is able to model those effects is essential for the design of transducers for novel ultrasound modalities.

Research on Residual Life Estimation Method for KMN Steel Based on Nonlinear Ultrasonic Testing
The testing of KMN steel bending fatigue with different cycles was carried out using a nonlinear ultrasonic detector to obtain its nonlinear coefficient. The experimental results show that the nonlinear coefficient first increases and then decreases with

ON INTEGRABILITY OF VARIABLE COEFFICIENT NONLINEAR SCHRÖDINGER EQUATIONS [PDF]
We apply Painlevé test to the most general variable coefficient nonlinear Schrödinger (VCNLS) equations as an attempt to identify integrable classes and compare our results versus those obtained by the use of other tools like group-theoretical approach and the Lax pairs technique of the soliton theory.
