LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Nonlinear gyrotropic vortex dynamics in ferromagnetic dots [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The quasistationary and transient (nanosecond) regimes of nonlinear vortex dynamics in a soft magnetic dot driven by an oscillating external field are studied.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Microscale velocity-dependent unbinding generates a macroscale performance-efficiency tradeoff in actomyosin systems

open access: yesCommunications Biology
Myosin motors are fundamental biological actuators that power diverse mechanical tasks in eukaryotic cells via ATP hydrolysis. Previous work has linked myosin’s velocity-dependent detachment rate to macroscopic scale muscle dynamics described by Hill’s ...

Rate of Convergence in Nonlinear Hartree Dynamics with Factorized Initial Data

open access: yes, 2011
The mean field dynamics of an $N$-particle weekly interacting Boson system can be described by the nonlinear Hartree equation. In this paper, we present estimates on the 1/N rate of convergence of many-body Schr\"{o}dinger dynamics to the one-body ...

C2α‐carbanion‐protonating glutamate discloses tradeoffs between substrate accommodation and reaction rate in actinobacterial 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

Fractional dynamic system simulating the growth of microbe

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2021
There are different approaches that indicate the dynamic of the growth of microbe. In this research, we simulate the growth by utilizing the concept of fractional calculus.

Application and Assessment of Cooperative Localization in Three-Dimensional Vehicle Networks

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
The trajectory planning and control of multi-agent systems requires accurate localization, which may not be possible when GPS signals and fixed features required for SLAM are not available.

Nonlinear quantum input-output analysis using Volterra series [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Quantum input-output theory plays a very important role for analyzing the dynamics of quantum systems, especially large-scale quantum networks. As an extension of the input-output formalism of Gardiner and Collet, we develop a new approach based on the ...

Optomechanics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We review recent progress in the field of optomechanics, where one studies the effects of radiation on mechanical motion. The paradigmatic example is an optical cavity with a movable mirror, where the radiation pressure can induce cooling, amplification ...
