Helix Alignment, Chevrons, and Edge Dislocations in Twist‐Bend Ferroelectric Nematics
The recently discovered twist‐bend ferroelectric nematic (NTBF) is the new member of the multiferroic family, representing a fluid with an oblique helicoidal (heliconical) periodic structure of spontaneous electric polarization. The work presents a thorough exploration of the material properties of this phase, how the periodic modulation of ...

ABSTRACT Methane's efficient catalytic removal is vital for sustainable development. Bimetallic catalysts, though promising for methane activation, pose a design challenge due to their complex compositional space. This work introduces an integrated framework that combines high‐throughput density functional theory (DFT) and interpretable machine ...

Cellular forces are traditionally inferred from displacement measurements, which lack rotational information and are constrained by linear model assumptions. This work replaces displacement with rotational angle for the fundamental mechanical readout.

Uniqueness of Solutions to a Nonlinear Elliptic Hessian Equation [PDF]
Through an Alexandrov-Fenchel inequality, we establish the general Brunn-Minkowski inequality. Then we obtain the uniqueness of solutions to a nonlinear elliptic Hessian equation onSn.

Cancer‐Associated BCL‐2 Mutants Reveal Mechanisms Towards Venetoclax Resistance
Venetoclax (VEN) resistance in chronic lymphocytic leukemia arises from diverse BCL2 mutations. We map mechanisms contributing to VEN resistance across common BCL‐2 variants. G101V and D103Y reduce drug binding and increase sequestration of pro‐apoptotic proteins. V156D blocks VEN allosterically.

Nonlinear Stability for Dissipative Nonlinear Evolution Equations with Ellipticity
The paper deals with the coupled system \[ \psi_t=-(1-\alpha)\psi-\sigma \theta_x +\alpha\psi_{xx}, \] \[ \theta_t=-(1-\alpha)\theta+\nu \psi_x +2\psi \theta_{x}+\alpha\theta_{xx}, \] where \(\alpha\) and \(\nu\) are positive numbers. This set of equations singles out the essential mechanism of nonlinear interaction between ellipticity and dissipation.

Lithium Niobate Electro‐Optic Photonic Processor for Variational Quantum Eigensolver
An integrated lithium‐niobate‐on‐insulator ququart processor implements an electro‐optically controlled photonic variational quantum eigensolver using single photons encoded in four path modes. Bell‐basis‐emulating ququart projective measurements reduce measurement settings while achieving chemical‐accuracy‐level molecular‐energy estimation.
