A smooth gain scheduling generalized predictive control
Nonlinear model predictive control is an emerging control technique dealing with high nonlinearities of industrial plants. However, it suffers from many hurdles such as the numerical problems related to the resulting no convex nonlinear optimization ...

The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

Non-linear model predictive control for variable speed hydropower
Inverter Based Resources (IBR) are gaining more popularity in modern power systems, leading to decrease in grid inertia. Hydropower Plants with rotating synchronous machines have been excellent source of inertia in existing grids.

Optimisation of a Gas-Lifted System with Nonlinear Model Predictive Control
A gas-lifted system in a mature oil well can experience casing-heading instability, which reduces the mean oil production and it is not healthy for the downstream equipment.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Fuzzy model predictive control for nonlinear processes [PDF]
The paper proposes an adaptive fuzzy predictive control method for industrial processes, which is based on the Generalized predictive control (GPC) algorithm. To provide good accuracy in the identification of unknown nonlinear plants, an online adaptive law is proposed to adapt a T-S fuzzy model.

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.
