Predicting Tipping Points in Chaotic Maps with Period-Doubling Bifurcations

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
In this paper, bifurcation points of two chaotic maps are studied: symmetric sine map and Gaussian map. Investigating the properties of these maps shows that they have a variety of dynamical solutions by changing the bifurcation parameter.

A distributed proximal gradient method with time-varying delays for solving additive convex optimizations

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics, 2023
We consider the problem of minimizing a finite sum of differentiable and nondifferentiable convex functions in the setting of finite-dimensional Euclidean space. We propose and analyze a distributed proximal gradient method with computational delays. The

Stability and Convergence Analysis for Set-Valued Extended Generalized Nonlinear Mixed Variational Inequality Problems and Generalized Resolvent Dynamical Systems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we study a set-valued extended generalized nonlinear mixed variational inequality problem and its generalized resolvent dynamical system. A three-step iterative algorithm is constructed for solving set-valued extended generalized nonlinear

On Strengthened Inertial-Type Subgradient Extragradient Rule with Adaptive Step Sizes for Variational Inequalities and Fixed Points of Asymptotically Nonexpansive Mappings

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
In a real Hilbert space, let the VIP denote a pseudomonotone variational inequality problem with Lipschitz continuity operator, and let the CFPP indicate a common fixed-point problem of finitely many nonexpansive mappings and an asymptotically ...

Implicit and explicit iterative algorithms for hierarchical variational inequality in uniformly smooth Banach spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
The purpose of this paper is to solve the hierarchical variational inequality with the constraint of a general system of variational inequalities in a uniformly convex and 2-uniformly smooth Banach space.

Strong Convergence Results of Split Equilibrium Problems and Fixed Point Problems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we investigate the split equilibrium problem and fixed point problem in Hilbert spaces. We propose an iterative scheme for solving such problem in which the involved equilibrium bifunctions f and g are pseudomonotone and monotone ...

Weighted Hardy type inequalities for supremum operators on the cones of monotone functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
The complete characterization of the weighted L p − L r $L^{p}-L^{r}$ inequalities of supremum operators on the cones of monotone functions for all 0 < p , r ≤ ∞ $0< p,r\leq \infty$ is given.

Strong Convergence Analysis of Iterative Algorithms for Solving Variational Inclusions and Fixed-Point Problems of Pseudocontractive Operators

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2021
Iterative methods for solving variational inclusions and fixed-point problems have been considered and investigated by many scholars. In this paper, we use the Halpern-type method for finding a common solution of variational inclusions and fixed-point ...

Exponential Loss Minimization for Learning Weighted Naive Bayes Classifiers

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
The naive Bayesian classification method has received significant attention in the field of supervised learning. This method has an unrealistic assumption in that it views all attributes as equally important.
