LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Exact Solutions of Nonlinear Second-Order Autonomous Ordinary Differential Equations: Application to Mechanical Systems

open access: yesDynamics, 2023
Many physical processes can be described via nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equations and so, exact solutions to these equations are of interest as, aside from their accuracy, they may reveal beforehand key properties of the system’s ...

Perturbations of nonlinear systems of ordinary differential equations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1984
Along with the n dimensional system (1) \(y'=f(t,y)\) the perturbed system (2) \(x'=f(t,x)+g(t,x)\) is considered. Certain refined assumptions are made about estimates of the fundamental matrix solution of the variational system with respect to a solution of system (1), and about g. (The function g need not be ''small'', it may be sublinear or linear.)

Nonlinear boundary value problem for a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesČasopis pro pěstování matematiky, 1985
We investigate a system of nonlinear differential equations with a special type of stable nonlinear boundary conditions. We suppose that by means of this system we can define a monotone operator T with a potential J. We seek a weak solution in the set M, a subset of a Sobolev space V.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Qualitative Analysis of a Retarded Mathematical Framework with Applications to Living Systems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
This paper deals with the derivation and the mathematical analysis of an autonomous and nonlinear ordinary differential-based framework. Specifically, the mathematical framework consists of a system of two ordinary differential equations: a logistic ...

Use of Complex Lie Symmetries for Linearization of Systems of Differential Equations - II: Partial Differential Equations

open access: yes, 2011
The linearization of complex ordinary differential equations is studied by extending Lie's criteria for linearizability to complex functions of complex variables.
