Nonlocal Nonlinear Problems for One-Dimensional Parabolic System
In the paper two nonlocal, nonlinear problems for a system of parabolic equations are considered: to find a solution of the system \vec u_t (x,t) = D\vec u_{xx}(x, t) + \vec f (x, t, \vec u (x, t)) subject to the conditions

Invariant Measure and Universality of the 2D Yang–Mills Langevin Dynamic
ABSTRACT We prove that the Yang–Mills (YM) measure for the trivial principal bundle over the two‐dimensional torus, with any connected, compact structure group, is invariant for the associated renormalised Langevin dynamic. Our argument relies on a combination of regularity structures, lattice gauge‐fixing and Bourgain's method for invariant measures ...

Front Propagation Through a Perforated Wall
ABSTRACT We consider a bistable reaction– diffusion equation ut=Δu+f(u)$u_t=\Delta u +f(u)$ on RN${\mathbb {R}}^N$ in the presence of an obstacle K$K$, which is a wall of infinite span with many holes. More precisely, K$K$ is a closed subset of RN${\mathbb {R}}^N$ with smooth boundary such that its projection onto the x1$x_1$‐axis is bounded and that ...

Dynamics of Nonlinear Parabolic Systems with Time Delays
The authors consider the problem \[ u_t= \Delta u+ {\delta e^u \over \int_\Omega e^udx}, \quad (x,t) \in \Omega \times [0,T), \] \[ u(x,0) = u_0(x), \quad u(x,t) = 0,\;(x,t) \in \partial \Omega \times [0,T). \] This problem arises as a model for various interesting processes in engineering.

Plasmakristall‐4 Experiment: 10 Years of Operation in Orbit
ABSTRACT Plasmakristall‐4 (PK‐4) is a microgravity complex plasma laboratory operated for 10 years on board the International Space Station. Its main purpose is the particle‐resolved investigation of generic condensed matter phenomena using strongly coupled suspensions of microparticles immersed in low‐pressure gas‐discharge plasmas.

Abstract Aims Natriuretic peptide‐based pre‐heart failure screening has been proposed in recent guidelines. However, an effective strategy to identify screening targets from the general population, more than half of which are at risk for heart failure or pre‐heart failure, has not been well established.

SOLUTION OF AN INVERSE PARABOLIC PROBLEM WITH UNKNOWN SOURCE-FUNCTION AND NONCONSTANT DIFFUSIVITY VIA THE INTEGRAL EQUATION METHODS [PDF]
In this paper, a nonlinear inverse problem of parabolic type, is considered. By reducing this inverse problem to a system of Volterra integral equations the existence, uniqueness, and stability of the solution will be shown.

Review of millimeter‐wave and terahertz near‐field synthetic aperture radar imaging technology
Abstract This paper comprehensively reviews the development of millimeter‐wave (MMW) and terahertz (THz) near‐field imaging technologies, with an emphasis on the state of synthetic aperture radar (SAR)‐based imaging technologies. Near‐field imaging technologies are categorized into passive and active imaging modes, among which active imaging is favored
