Nonlinear system identification and characterization

Given a Volterra series representation of an input-output system, the authors present a result concerning conditions under which there exists a feedback linearizable realization of the nonlinear system. In addition, they develop a method to compute the unknown parameters in a canonical-form realization from the known Volterra kernels.

A Contribution on the Identification of Nonlinear Systems

In this paper, an identification method is proposed to determine the nonlinear systems parameters. The proposed nonlinear systems can be described by Wiener systems. This structure of models consists of series of linear dynamic element and a nonlinearity block. Both the linear and nonlinear parts are nonparametric.
