Nonlinear time series analysis of geomagnetic pulsations [PDF]
A detailed nonlinear time series analysis has been made of two daytime geomagnetic pulsation events being recorded at L'Aquila (Italy, L ≈ 1.6) and Niemegk (Germany, L ≈ 2.3).

Non-linear auto-regressive models for cross-frequency coupling in neural time series. [PDF]
We address the issue of reliably detecting and quantifying cross-frequency coupling (CFC) in neural time series. Based on non-linear auto-regressive models, the proposed method provides a generative and parametric model of the time-varying spectral ...

ASYMPTOTICS FOR NONLINEAR TRANSFORMATIONS OF INTEGRATED TIME SERIES [PDF]
Summary: An asymptotic theory for stochastic processes generated from nonlinear transformations of nonstationary integrated time series is developed. Various nonlinear functions of integrated series such as ARIMA time series are studied, and the asymptotic distributions of sample moments of such functions are obtained and analyzed.

Model selection for nonlinear time series [PDF]
We investigate the finite-sample performance of model selection criteria for local linear regression by simulation. Similarly to linear regression, the penalization term depends on the number of parameters of the model. In the context of nonparametric regression, we use a suitable quantity to account for the Equivalent Number of Parameters as ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...
