Second order systems with nonlinear nonlocal boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2018
This paper is concerned with the second order differential equation with not necessarily linear nonlocal boundary condition. The existence of solutions is obtained using the properties of the Leray–Schauder degree. The results generalize and improve some

On the stability of reaction-diffusion models with nonlocal delay effect and nonlinear boundary condition

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2020
The local stability of the steady state for a general class of a reaction–diffusion model with nonlocal delay effect and nonlinear boundary condition is investigated under natural and minimal hypotheses.

In‐Sensor Computing by Soft Threshold Logic Gates Under Different Humidity Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Soft nanocomposite materials, based on gold cluster‐assembled thin films implanted in polydimethylsiloxane substrate, can perform reliable processing in ambient environmental conditions. Humidity influences the resistive switching and computational capabilities of the nanocomposites, that can be used as multifunctional material combining sensing ...

Orientation‐Engineered PtTe2 Schottky FETs: Quantum Transport Insights for Dopant‐Free Advanced Technology Nodes

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Monolayer PtTe2 enables dopant‐free Schottky FETs through its thickness‐dependent electronic transition. Quantum transport simulations show that crystallographic orientation strongly influences device performance, with Γ–M transport delivering higher drive current, lower leakage, and improved switching behavior.

Sturm-Liouville Problem for Stationary Differential Operator with Nonlocal Two-Point Boundary Conditions

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2006
The Sturm-Liouville problem with various types of two-point boundary conditions is considered in this paper. In the first part of the paper, we investigate the Sturm-Liouville problem in three cases of nonlocal two-point boundary conditions.

Exact analytical approach for free longitudinal vibration of nanorods based on nonlocal elasticity theory from wave standpoint [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical and Applied Vibration and Acoustics, 2017
In this paper, free longitudinal vibration of nanorods is investigated from the wave viewpoint. The Eringen’s nonlocal elasticity theory is used for nanorods modelling.

Analysis of a spatial memory model with nonlocal maturation delay and hostile boundary condition

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, we propose and investigate a memory-based reaction-diffusion equation with nonlocal maturation delay and homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. We first study the existence of the spatially inhomogeneous steady state.

Reaction Diffusion Equations with Nonlocal Boundary and Nonlocal Initial Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1995
The author considers the existence, multiplicity, and asymptotic behavior of solutions for a reaction diffusion equation under nonlocal boundary and nonlocal initial conditions. The main results are the theorems about the existence of multiple solutions for both the time-dependent and the steady-state problems, and that each of the time-dependent ...
