A new smooth failure criterion for concrete inspired by Lubliner's condition
Abstract A new failure criterion with 10 parameters is proposed, based on Lubliner's idea of joining two Drucker–Prager cones. The novelty lies in the way of introducing deviatoric shape variation: through two Podgórski's functions. This feature allows for improving plane stress cross‐section's compatibility with experimental data.

A Note on the Drazin Indices of Square Matrices
For a square matrix A, the smallest nonnegative integer k such that rank (Ak) = rank (Ak+1) is called the Drazin index of A. In this paper, we give some results on the Drazin indices of sum and product of square matrices.

Hard physics embedding, where neural networks learn residuals relative to analytical baselines, substantially outperforms soft loss‐function constraints for extrapolation in LPBF process–property prediction. Physics integration architecture determines generalization capability more than constraint quantity.
