Copper–Collagen Interactions Regulate the Mechanical and Invasive Properties of Tumor Spheroids
Ionic copper is investigated as a modulator of tumor spheroid growth and invasiveness in a 3D microfluidic glioblastoma model. Copper exposure alters metabolic activity, cytoskeletal organization, protrusion dynamics, and EMT‐related phenotypes in a dose‐ and timing‐dependent manner, revealing how copper bioavailability shapes tumor aggressiveness ...

Nonparametric Conditional Inference for Regression Coefficients with Application to Configural Polysampling [PDF]
We consider inference procedures, conditional on an observed ancillary statistic, for regression coefficients under a linear regression setup where the unknown error distribution is specified nonparametrically.

Matrix Viscoelasticity Regulates Dendritic Cell Migration and Immune Priming
Matrix viscoelasticity is a key mechanical feature of the tumor microenvironment but remains poorly understood in immune regulation. Here, we develop a tunable collagen platform to decouple viscoelasticity from stiffness and show that slow‐relaxing matrices constrain dendritic cell migration by limiting actomyosin‐driven matrix remodeling, thereby ...

A Family of Nonparametric Density Estimation Algorithms
A new methodology for density estimation is proposed. The methodology, which builds on the one developed by Tabak and Vanden‐Eijnden, normalizes the data points through the composition of simple maps. The parameters of each map are determined through the

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control
We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. The hydrogels are also integrated as 3D channels in organic electrochemical transistors as part of

A SEM-based approach using likelihood-based confidence interval (LBCI) has been proposed to form confidence intervals for unstandardized and standardized indirect effect in mediation models. However, when used with the maximum likelihood estimation, this

Temporal and Cell‐Specific Regulation of Synaptic Homeostasis by the Chromatin Remodeler Chd1
Chd1, the Drosophila homologue of mammalian CHD2 ‐ a gene linked to autism, epilepsy, and intellectual disability, is required for synaptic homeostatic plasticity. Chd1 in glia is necessary for the rapid induction of synaptic homeostasis, whereas Chd1 in motoneurons, muscle, and glia is critical for long‐term maintenance.

Nonparametric estimation of conditional incremental effects
Conditional effect estimation has great scientific and policy importance because interventions may impact subjects differently depending on their characteristics.

Nonparametric inference for interventional effects with multiple mediators
Understanding the pathways whereby an intervention has an effect on an outcome is a common scientific goal. A rich body of literature provides various decompositions of the total intervention effect into pathway-specific effects.
