Nonprofit Organizations are emerging dramatically in the field of Community Welfare Services after Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in l995. New NPO Law (1998) and Public Long-term Care Insurance Law (1999) had also innuenced greatly. We have conducted nation-wide research on Care Nonprofits in 2001 and show the data in this paper.
