Numerous events are involved in brain development, some of which are detected by neuroimaging. Major changes in brain morphology are depicted by brain imaging during the fetal period while changes in brain composition can be demonstrated in both pre- and postnatal periods.

Normal Scores, Normal Plots Tests for Normality
Journal of the American Statistical Association, 1996Abstract In this article we develop new plotting positions for normal plots. The use of the plots usually centers on detecting irregular tail behavior or outliers. Along with the normal plot, we develop tests for various departures from normality, especially for skewness and heavy tails.

NORMAL-MAP BETWEEN NORMAL-COMPATIBLE MANIFOLDS
International Journal of Computational Geometry & Applications, 2007Consider two (n−1)-dimensional manifolds, S and S′ in ℝn. We say that they are normal-compatible when the closest projection of each one onto the other is a homeomorphism. We give a tight condition under which S and S′ are normal-compatible. It involves the minimum feature size of S and of S′ and the Hausdorff distance between them.

Finite Groups with Normal Normalizers
Canadian Journal of Mathematics, 1968We say that a finite group G has property N if the normalizer of every subgroup of G is normal in G. Such groups are nilpotent since every Sylow subgroup is normal (the normalizer of a Sylow subgroup is its own normalizer). Thus it is sufficient to study p-groups which have property N. Note that property N is inherited by subgroups and factor groups.

To review the normal coagulation process and the mechanisms that lead to abnormal clotting.Primary and tertiary literature and the authors' clinical experience. The process of coagulation is complex and can be easily misunderstood. It is important to be familiar with normal coagulation before one can comprehend the coagulopathies associated with ...

Pohl sagte: «Immerhin, viel Glanz fur mich.»

Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinics of North America
Puberty is characterized by gonadarche and adrenarche. Gonadarche represents the reactivation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis with increased gonadotropin-releasing hormone, luteinizing hormone, and follicle-stimulating hormone secretion following the quiescence during childhood.

Normal faults, normal friction?
Geology, 2001Debate continues as to whether normal faults may be seismically active at very low dips (d , 308) in the upper continental crust. An updated compilation of dip estimates (n 5 25) has been prepared from focal mechanisms of shallow, intracontinental, normal-slip earthquakes (M .

Normal backwardation is normal
Journal of Futures Markets, 2000Traditionally, constant expected return asset pricing models are used to assess the presence of a futures risk premium and the validity of the normal backwardation theory. In the light of recent evidence regarding the presence of time variation in expected futures returns, such an approach may lead to incorrect inferences on the applicability of the ...
