Integrated genomic and proteomic profiling reveals insights into chemoradiation resistance in cervical cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A comprehensive genomic and proteomic analysis of cervical cancer revealed STK11 and STX3 as a potential biomarkers of chemoradiation resistance. Our study demonstrated EGFR as a therapeutic target, paving the way for precision strategies to overcome treatment failure and the DNA repair pathway as a critical mechanism of resistance.

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Application of Normal Distribution to Estimate the Quality of Regional Geochemical Survey Samples

open access: yesYankuang ceshi, 2013
The quality of regional geochemical survey samples is currently estimated indirectly by internal and external laboratory quality control. The method described here effectively improves the quality of geochemical samples.

Elephant Random Walk with a Random Step Size and Gradually Increasing Memory and Delays

open access: yesAxioms
The ERW model was introduced twenty years ago to study memory effects in a one-dimensional discrete-time random walk with a complete memory of its past throughout a parameter p between zero and one.

On a Logistic Approximation to the Normal and Other Cumulative Distribution Functions

open access: yesRecoletos Multidisciplinary Research Journal, 2014
This paper proposes an approach that maintains the simplicity of various approximations as well as having a closed- form algebraic inverse yet easily generalizable to the approximation of other cumulative distribution functions.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Analysis and assessment of the validity dough "theory of functions of the complex variable"

open access: yesВестник Самарского государственного технического университета. Серия: Психолого-педагогические науки, 2017
In article the analysis of quality of the "Theory of Functions of a Complex Variable" test is carried out. The dough validity in normal way to distribution, according to the contents, on the distinguishing ability is estimated.

Reliability Assessment for Small-Sample Accelerated Life Tests with Normal Distribution

open access: yesMachines
A significant challenge in the accelerated life test (ALT) is the reliance on large sample sizes and multiple stress levels, which results in high costs and long test durations.

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...
