Normal Ω-subgroups

open access: yesFilomat, 2018
Subgroups, congruences and normal subgroups are investigated for-groups. These are latticevalued algebraic structures, defined on crisp algebras which are not necessarily groups, and in which the classical equality is replaced by a lattice-valued one. A normal ?-subgroup is defined as a particular class in an ?-congruence.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Symplectic groups are N-determined 2-compact groups

open access: yes, 2005
We show that for n>=3 the symplectic group Sp(n) is as a 2-compact group determined up to isomorphism by the isomorphism type of its maximal torus normalizer.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Maximal 3-local subgroups of symmetric groups [PDF]

open access: yesSongklanakarin Journal of Science and Technology (SJST), 2013
The subgroups in the set max    G B, consisting of all maximal 3-local subgroups of G Sym n  ( ) with respect to B,the normalizer of a Sylow 3-subgroup of G in G, is investigated.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Groups of infinite rank with a normalizer condition on subgroups [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Group Theory, 2015
Groups of infinite rank in which every subgroup is either normal or self-normalizing are characterized in terms of their subgroups of infinite rank.

Generators of Maximal Subgroups of Harada-Norton and some Linear Groups

open access: yesOpen Chemistry, 2019
Group theory, the ultimate theory for symmetry, is a powerful tool that has a direct impact on research in robotics, computer vision, computer graphics and medical image analysis.

Pseudocomplementation in (Normal) Subgroup Lattices [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Algebra, 2010
The goal of this article is to study finite groups admitting a pseudocomplemented subgroup lattice (PK-groups) or a pseudocomplemented normal subgroup lattice (PKN-groups). In particular, we obtain a complete classification of finite PK-groups and of finite nilpotent PKN-groups. We also study groups with a Stone normal subgroup lattice, and we classify
